The Midnights are a Victoria based Motown, Soul, Pop, Funk, corporate/festival Band.  Known as one of Canada's most distinctive, and exceptional show bands! 

 

The band is also popular internationally and their shows recreate the high stepping, choreographed energizing performances of all the great Pop, Motown, R&B and Funk artists.  

 

As well, the band can feature its own original material written by song writing icon BJ Cook of Skylark. The Midnights are a treat to watch and are perfect for any and all occasions, ranging from corporate events to festivals, to weddings and private functions.

 

The senior members of the band have performed with many major recording artists in Canada and the United States, including Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Celine Dion, Holly Cole, Juno Award winner Jim Byrnes, Jazz trumpet icon Clark Terry and many more. 

 

The Midnights were part of a documentary in Canada that showed on Bravo TV (5 years) featuring the Victoria High School Rhythm and Blues Band called “Motown High”(Canadian Market) and “Sounds Like Motown”(American Market).  Past performances include major festivals in Canada, (Jazz Fest Victoria, Blues Bash Victoria), Victoria Symphony Splash, international shows in Iceland, Denmark, the USA with current invitations to Germany, Nashville, Memphis, Trinidad and Jamaica.
