Featuring viola, guitar and cajon, Sons of Granville earned three consecutive podiums in Georgia Straight's "Best of Vancouver" edition, with an acoustic fusion, combining R&B, classical and world-beat.

 

The trio specializes in elegant and upbeat music ambience, performing at galas, summits and celebrations in Vancouver, Whistler, Surrey and throughout B.C.

Founded in 2010 by a duo of virtuoso buskers at the Granville and Georgia intersection, the band released its self-titled debut shortly thereafter and made the first of three consecutive Best of Vancouver appearances in the Georgia Straight.

Sons of Granville added a cajonist to complete the trio in 2011, as they cemented a reputation for unbridled live theatrics.

 

Throughout the past decade, they have been and continue to be a staple of BC's vibrant entertainment district.
