KYLAN WAGNER

Kylan Wagner grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan and began dancing under the teaching of his mother in many styles of dance. Then, after being accepted into Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto, he devoted himself to his dance career. While training in ballet school, he was also selected to be a part of Team Canada Tap East team that travelled to Germany to compete.

 

After two years of training in Ontario, Kylan was then accepted into the Alberta Ballet School in Calgary, Alberta. During his time in Calgary, Kylan also travelled internationally for 

conventions/competitions assisting and competing. He was also a part of a

contemporary company labelled YYC Dance Project. Post-pandemic, Kylan relocated to Vancouver and has trained in the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Centre. Now, he is continuing to pursue his dance career.

Kylan has done many performances in a variety of styles, as well as worked with/assisted many well-known choreographers. His main styles of dance would include: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, Partnering, and

Musical Theatre. Some of the productions that he has been a part of, would include: Justin Bieber Purpose Tour/Saskatoon, IDO World Tap Championships/Germany, two seasons Nutcracker/The National Ballet of Canada, two seasons Beat Squad/California, Lumiere/Vancouver, and many more. Kylan is not only a professional dancer but also a dance teacher and choreographer. He has done lots

of teaching/choreography across western Canada.
